I am 'bout that life

I asked Jesus, "is a made up mind REALLY that powerful?"

Lately, I've been boldly declaring "I don't want to live the safe life, I want to live the faith life" (*bursts into laughter! I know! I know! I'm just setting myself up to be tried, right?!)
Call me crazy but I am so serious. I got to this place one day during prayer time when I kept hearing "without faith, it is impossible to please Me." Everyone knows that scripture, right?
Well it seriously hit home for me. Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God!
Everyday I make it my business to tell God that all I want to do is be pleasing in His sight. I WANT TO LIVE A LIFE THAT PLEASES GOD! A "FAITH LIFE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God loves when we have faith because it means we believe that He is who He says He is and that we depend solely on Him.

• why else would He promise to supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus?! (don't believe me?! CLICK HERE)
• why else would He tell us to lean not on our own understanding but on HIS understanding! all we have to do is ACKNOWLEDGE HIM and He will direct our path! (PROOF!)
• why else would He take out the time to plan such a great future for us? so that we would depend on Him and rely on His knowledge, wisdom and great strength! (HERE YOU GO!)
• why else would He invite us to take rest in Him when we are worn out from affairs of the world? because He is the ONLY ONE who can give us the rest that we truly need! that relief, that breath of fresh air, that heavy burden bearer is JESUS! (BAM!)

God desires to be everything that you need. And guess what?! He has the capability to be just that - EVERYTHING that you NEED! He wants us to depend on Him, to run to Him about everything, to cast our cares on Him (HELLO :), to vent to Him and ask His insight. He wants to be invited into our lives so that He can take care of us and love on us the way that we NEED it...and the only way is through HIM! But guess what! The only way to have ACCESS to experiencing who God is and what He can do, WE MUST HAVE FAITH. FAITH = GOD

So back to my declaration! WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD. I DO NOT WANT TO LIVE THE SAFE LIFE, I WANT TO LIVE THE FAITH LIFE. Everyday I invite God into my life to completely take rest and do with my life what He pleases. I am setting goals and I am making changes. I am actually already in the middle of a test (I AIN'T ASHAMED TO TELL IT!)...you know the test where you MUST operate in faith because faith is the ONLY THING YOU HAVE.. OKAY!!!!!!!! *SCREAMS then takes a deep breath* but I am SOULED OUT! (*sings* MY MIND IS MAAADDEEEE UP!!!!) and I told God that I am going to do everything in my power and leave the rest up to Him (you do know that's what faith is, right?! If not, I will be doing a follow up later on periscope: tmb1 - FOLLOW ME! :)


(SIDENOTE: EVERYTHING I SAY FROM HERE ON OUT, REMEMBER THAT FAITH = GOD. SO IF YOU'D LIKE, SUBSTITUTE "FAITH" WITH "GOD" (and vice-versa) AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!)
The world we live in was spoken into existence (Need proof? CLICK HERE!). We LITERALLY wake up in faith, drive around in faith, work in faith - we go about our day to day lives encountering faith on a regular basis. We are a part of a "faith existence"! A world that was SPOKEN INTO EXISTENCE. Understand that the world was made by the WORD of GOD. Things we see were made from what could not be seen. Nothing was here, God spoke and nothing became something!!!!!!!
MAKE UP YOUR MIND THAT YOU'RE NOT GOING TO LIVE THE SAFE LIFE!! LIVE THE FAITH LIFE!!!
